Therefore, the graph makes it clear that Facebook has a rapid rise, above 2 billion users by 2018. While it started rise after Facebook, YouTube shows a significant growth in its user base, which indicates that the consumption of video might be on the rise. WeChat, Instagram, WhatsApp, and other platforms have all seen significant growth; Instagram has grown at a rapid since 2012. On the other hand, the growth of Tumblr, Snapchat, and Twitter is more weak. In addition, Given the extent of Facebook and YouTube in communication and content consumption, a growing trend of social media platform use has major implications, The huge use of WhatsApp and Instagram suggests a desire for fast and visual communication.
