A project team is a team made up of multiple roles to effectively execute a project and achieve its goals. For example, at Sydney Airport in 2024, Liang’s team could consist of the following members. Firstly, teams need to increase and organize understanding of the impact of sustainability. Second, the project team should properly assess sustainability measures that meet the project success criteria. In addition, the team must carry out all necessary interventions. As part of the overall responsibility, the project team also assumes other important roles and responsibilities such as stakeholder leadership, communication and coordination between organizational levels, risk management, and quality management.

From the perspective of those responsible for the impact of sustainable development, the primary responsibility lies in developing and adapting specific risk response strategies. Second, the project manager must monitor the risks to be allocated and immediately report on the likelihood and consequences of changes. In addition, trigger points and risk managers should be closely monitored and project managers kept informed of progress if necessary. Participants will also assist in coordinating sustainable development assessments and reporting.

Teams are made up of many roles and people to effectively perform tasks and achieve goals. For example, the core members of the Sydney Western Airport 2024 project team are project managers responsible for the planning, organisation, supervision and control of fast, high-quality delivery. Project developers play an important role in minimizing negative impacts on the environment and improving resource efficiency. The construction manager oversees organizational changes associated with project implementation and ensures that sustainability standards are met. Sustainability experts provide specific advice on how to reduce negative environmental and social impacts, while risk managers develop strategies to reduce risks, identify risks and opportunities, and reduce uncertainty.

It is important to document the impact on sustainability from the perspective of the

project team. This will increase awareness and transparency of sustainability issues through the environmental, social and economic impacts of project activities. In addition, the impact of sustainable development plans on project objectives, programme delivery, cost and quality must be assessed and integrated into the planning and programming process so that projects can be fully functional. In order to ensure the sustainability and success of the project, specific impact measures such as environmental management plans and risk management strategies must be put in place. In addition to these core tasks, the project team must contribute to the long-term success and sustainability of the project through responsibility management, communication, coordination, risk management, and quality management.

From the perspective of sustainability managers, their primary task is to develop or adapt risk management strategies. A comprehensive risk assessment and effective mitigation should ensure that the impact on business sustainability is minimized. In addition, it is important to support risk mitigation strategies by adapting to dynamic environments, monitoring all associated risks and timely reporting of any changes in probabilities or impacts. In addition, by accurately tracking trigger points and dangerous paths, they can quickly identify and reduce negative impacts and ensure the sustainability and success of the project. In addition to these main functions, risk management activities are also very useful:

1. Developing and updating our strategy: in order to identify potential risks and reduce the negative impact on the likelihood of the project going ahead, effective strategies have been developed and an integrated assessment has been carried out.

2. Risk monitoring: it is important to systematically monitor and evaluate the risks identified, taking into account their likelihood, possible outcomes and interdependencies.

3. Inform the project manager of changes: it is important to inform the project manager of the severity of the risks identified or the possibility of changes.

4. Trigger and warning signal monitoring: identify and monitor possible hazard indicators and warning signs in advance to ensure rapid perception and response.

5. Coordination of sustainability assessments and reports: working with relevant stakeholders to integrate risk management activities into a broader sustainability assessment and reporting mechanism.
