Written Section

Climate change is one of the most pressing issues facing our world today, and urgent action is necessary to combat it. The key motive for a person to approve of this position is that scientific research has shown that human activities, especially the burning of fossil fuels and the destruction of forests, have led to the release of greenhouse gases into the atmosphere, which causes global warming. This warming causes a set of destructive consequences, such as rising sea levels, extreme weather events such as floods, cyclones, and typhoons, and loss of biodiversity. The catastrophic impact of climate change on the world environment and society can be avoided if this discussion is carried out with utmost seriousness. Therefore, we need to enforce urgent and enforceable measures.

However, investing in sustainable and renewable energy sources such as wind and solar can provide economic benefits such as job creation and energy independence. As the transition from the traditional economy to the low-carbon economy takes place, we not only combat climate change and reduce air pollution, making our environment better and sustainable.

Engagement Section

The belief that individuals differ in how they understand and act on ethical beliefs based on their gender stems from cultural norms, historical influences, and societal expectations. In many cultures, gender roles have been constructed to shape individuals' behaviors, values, and

beliefs from a young age. For instance, women have often been socialized to be nurturing and compassionate, while men are encouraged to prioritize assertiveness and independence. Though this might be partially true, the definition of ethics might also be affected by the variation in outlooks and behaviors stemming from gender.

While these beliefs may partly reflect stereotypes, they reflect the important characteristics of our society. Traditional gender roles have shaped how men and women engage with moral issues and what is expected of them in various situations. However, it is important to note that these gender roles are rapidly evolving, and ordinary people are more inclined to challenge mainstream gender roles. This shift not only leads to a more empathetic and comprehensive view of ethical beliefs that transcends gender-based stereotypes.
