A Descriptive research design will be followed within the research in order to comprehend the effectiveness of AI Algorithm and machine learning in reducing diagnostic errors among young adult patients in the UK. Descriptive design is a prominent methodological element that guides in comprehending the assumptions of a particular population in order to extract data in accordance with the research area of focus ( Aggarwal & Ranganathan 2019). However, the research will discard the utilisation of other forms of research design such as exploratory design due to its sole focus in extracting information from pre-existing sources, thereby lowering the credibility of the information. Exploratory design tends to obstruct the utilisation of data from a particular population which lowers the overall specificity of the obtained information (Thomas & Lawal, 2020). The descriptive design in the current research will guide in accumulating statistical information regarding the prevalence of diagnostic errors within the UK. Hence, the respective research design will uplift the informative credibility of the study through gathering information in accordance with the subjective arena of the study.
