According to the self-assessment rubric, I think my response is good in relation to the main teaching approaches similarities and differences in primary and secondary contexts.
With regards to teaching approaches differences, I have identified and described pertinent variations, and parental involvement levels. In my study, the analysis of assessment practices in primary and secondary settings was comprehensive, pointing out the focus on formative assessment in primary and summative assessment in secondary. My knowledge of the effects of child and adolescent development on instructional planning was clearly shown. I addressed the effects of the concrete versus abstract thinking and identity development on teaching practices.i should including more focused research about the linkage of developmental aspects with lesson planning would strengthen my answer.Specifically about the challenges and opportunities of the school P-12 setting, I have found such problems as diverse student needs and benefits such as vertical teaming opportunities. I gave appropriate examples to support my argument. To make this section stronger, I may provide a more detailed discussion of research-based strategies in reducing the given challenges.
