The protagonist of the game is a Chinese boy named "Momo," who is a typical Chinese student facing heavy academic and examination pressures every day. However, Momo longs to escape these constraints and explore a broader world. One quiet afternoon, Momo has a dream during his nap, in which he embarks on a wonderful journey. The game's story unfolds from here, with players taking on the role of Momo, traveling through different cities, and experiencing the local customs and cultures. At the end of the game, Momo returns to the real world, but his spirit has been deeply moved by the trip. He realizes that history and culture are not just words on paper but living experiences. This journey inspires Momo and all players: No matter how great the difficulties, as long as we are brave enough to explore, we can discover the beauty in life.
One of the core features of the game is the face-morphing system, which allows players to customize Momo to their liking. The system also enables players to upload personal photos and generate a virtual character that closely resembles the user's facial features, skin tone, and makeup through Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN) and Generative Adversarial Networks (GAN).
In terms of level design, four levels have been initially set: Exploring the Great Wall, Exploring the Forbidden City, Treasure Hunting in the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, and Touring the Jiangnan Water Town. In the Exploring the Great Wall level, players need to help Momo climb the Great Wall while collecting knowledge about the history of its construction. In the Exploring the Forbidden City level, Momo will explore the secrets of the ancient palace, solve puzzles, and learn about the history of China's feudal dynasties. In the Treasure Hunting in the Mausoleum of the First Qin Emperor, players will help Momo explore the tomb, unlock ancient mechanisms, and learn about the history of Qin Shi Huang's unification of the six states. In the Touring the Jiangnan Water Town level, Momo will travel through the ancient towns of Jiangnan, experiencing the soft scenery and unique cultural atmosphere.
The game's art style adopts a Chinese ink painting style, combining traditional Chinese painting art with modern design concepts. From classical landscapes to modern cityscapes, every frame in the game is like an exquisite painting, allowing players to enjoy the visual feast while also deeply feeling the charm of Chinese art.
