The approach begins with a clear presentation of SDG 8, including the title and important points, followed by a detailed study of the difficulties and the role of vision and innovation in achieving it. The paper advocates implementing scholarly and empirical research findings, highlighting the fact that fostering entrepreneurship and innovation can boost the economy.

Introduction:

Most crucially, SDG 8 limits nations to sustainable economic growth, full employment, and dignified work. SDG 8 of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals envisions economic growth that promotes social well-being. SDG 8 encompasses economic development, social inclusion, and environmental sustainability. With its many targets and indicators, SDG 8 aims to address many modern living issues, from inequality to environmental crimes, by ensuring open, people-friendly economies that value a good life for themselves and the globe.

SDG 8's comprehensive approach to economic development considers progress, social equality, and environmental functions. SDG 8 emphasises the significance of integrating inclusion, innovation, and environmental protection into economic growth to improve people and the planet. SDG 8, one of the economic goals, promotes entrepreneurship, creativity, productivity, and good working standards to create an economic system where human and engaging development and economic growth meet social and environmental standards.

Targets and Indicators of SDG 8:

SDG 8's comprehensive approach to economic development considers progress, social equality, and environmental functions. Along with these aims, SDG objective 8 includes indicators to track progress and guide policymaking. Target 8.3.1 of this tracker examines unstable employment as a percentage of total employment. SDG 8 progress in Saudi Arabia Vision 2030 relies on small and start-up firms and their imagination. The research confirms that sustainable development goals, which promote education and training to enhance entrepreneurship, affect Saudi Arabia's economic growth. Ahmad's article offers a 'Virtual Business Incubator' to promote sustainable growth through entrepreneur-oriented e-business.

The study (Alzamel, 2024) also examined how e-entrepreneurship promotes environmental regulations and green practices by highlighting Saudi women entrepreneurs. The study has made mobile entrepreneurship, especially digital entrepreneurship, a key component of the sustainable development goals. Additionally, the Kenan Institute (n.d.) shows entrepreneurs' role in Saudi Arabia's economic diversification, job creation, and innovation.

Contribution of Entrepreneurship and Innovation to Economic Growth and Job Creation:

The creation of a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation is the main priority for SDG 8 and Saudi Vision 2030. SDG 8 objectives and indicators emphasize the need for sustainable, inclusive, population-impacting economic growth under decent and productive working conditions. This includes boosting entrepreneurship, creativity, and innovation and lowering corporate costs. Additionally, SMEs should be strategically encouraged in expansion.

Entrepreneurship and innovation may be the means, but Saudi Arabia's pivotal position in future-ready planning is the method. Singh et al. (2022) reviewed educational and labour force competency training and found that entrepreneurial abilities, particularly among young, are crucial to SA's economic development. E-entrepreneurship can also help Saudi female entrepreneurs adopt greener environmental policies, according to Samar Alzamel (2024). This promotes economic growth and environmental sustainability (SDG 8).

Technology incubators and innovation-based entrepreneurship are essential to diversify the economy away from oil, according to the Saudi Gazette (2023). Entrepreneurship helps grow and sustain the economy by expanding existing businesses or starting new ones in different areas.

Conclusion:

Lastly, the essence is that entrepreneurship and innovation become both necessary and substantial basis for sustainable development being observed, especially while surrounding SDG 8 and Saudi Vision 2030. In the first place, the kingdom of Saudi Arabia can achieve its development strategy by tapping into entrepreneurial talents, fostering innovation, and creating favourable conditions for growth and success. Secondly, it can be the model for the world for sustainable economic growth by itself.
