Investigating the Impacts of COVID-19 and Lockdown Measures on People and
Economic Recovery
The research will demonstrate the different aspects of the COVID-19 pandemic and its impact on public health, the lockdown system, governmental reactions, and economic recovery measures. The research approach will be mixed; both qualitative and quantitative methods will be applied. Through qualitative methods such as semi-structured interviews, individuals from different backgrounds will be interviewed.
➤ "How has the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown measures personally impacted your daily life and well-being?"
➤ "From your perspective, what do you perceive as the most significant challenges faced by individuals and businesses during the economic recovery phase post-lockdown?"
Their narrations will illustrate the rich and diverse experiences during the evolution of the pandemic and imposed lockdowns. Consequently, the quantitative technique will involve governmental reports, economic indicators, and public health data in order to provide a complete insight into the general impacts. My objectives cover the evaluation of instantaneous human, community, and business influence and of the government's performance in alleviating the said crisis and strengthening economic recovery. https://www.oecd.org/coronavirus/policy-responses/dynamic-covid-policy-responses/d3e314e1-chapter-d1e20/mediaweb/images/d3e314e1/media/image2.png.webp
Through this course, I plan to gain sophisticated knowledge about the socioeconom ic effects of the pandemic, learn the essential challenges from those who are affected most, and understand the successful approaches of the government to make society more resilient and

develop fast. The relevance of this research topic extends our cognizance of this global upheaval and, therefore, can inform future pandemic preparedness, policy-making, and resilience-building initiatives.
