Within the vibrant urban hubs of Pakistan, a prevalent and pressing issue tightly holds the daily existence of several women: the serious safety hazards linked to transportation. Women, including students, working professionals, and homemakers, face a complex and intimidating experience

when using traditional taxi services, particularly at night. The presence of harassment and abuse creates a daunting atmosphere that restricts their freedom and undermines their feeling of safety. The persistent condition of insecurity not only impairs the fundamental rights of women but also creates substantial obstacles to their ability to access schooling, job opportunities, and social activities.

The numbers present a clear and harsh depiction of the actual circumstances encountered by women in Pakistan. The prospect of being subjected to abuse on their commute at educational institutions can discourage individuals from seeking educational possibilities or attending courses consistently. Likewise, women who work encounter significant obstacles when it comes to finding job prospects, as the fear of dangerous transportation discourages their involvement in the labor market. Even homemakers are limited in their social engagement, access to necessary services, and fulfillment of family duties due to their incapacity to travel alone.
