Government Strategic Plan
The strategic plan for the City of Miami is more of a comprehensive way of looking at
community development, resilience, and economic vibrancy (Wakefield et al.,2023). It firmly
roots itself in a value-based philosophy of innovation, morality, professionalism, accountability,
compassion, and teamwork. Such values make themselves available toward forward-thinking
solutions, building trust, ensuring excellence, keeping commitments, paying attention to the
community's well-being, and working as a team.
The three main areas cover Quality of Life, Resilience, and Path to Prosperity. Quality of
Life includes goals touching on efficient service delivery, enhancing civic spaces, improving
mobility and transit choices, business and experience transformation, and health and well-being
(Wakefield et al., 2023). The goals cut across a range of swinging lanes, from the modernization
of City processes to the reduction of gun violence, to show the approach to the all-inclusive well-
being of the community.
Across the resilience spectrum, from making long-term, data-driven decisions to
engaging and empowering residents before a stressor or shock, from protecting and bettering
waterfronts to investing in resilient infrastructure, will advance adaptive neighborhoods and
buildings (Guyadeen et al.,2033). The category will

critical services, and expanding housing options (Guyadeen et al.,2023). The category will

support goals around innovation and growing small businesses, connecting residents to job training and education opportunities, providing residents with social services, and preserving affordability.
Decisions in the totality of the plan are likely to be informed, initiatives are likely to be based on priority, and goals are likely to be measured by supporting data (Guyadeen et al.,2023).
The data will likely be pulled from demographic trends, economic indicators, environmental risks, infrastructure assessments, and community input. This concrete plan aims to improve the quality of life, increase resilience, and boost the economic prosperity of residents and businesses in Miami-Dade County. https://www.miami.gov/Services/Your-Government/City-of-Miami-Strategic-Plan.
