PROJECT OUTCOME

Our project outcome was a brochure which was based on the Flood IDPs. the brochure was made to spread awareness about the situation and to showcase what they were going through.

We found different cultural perspectives on the topic and found a local and global perspective on the topic to further spread information on the whole issue.

Our main research was of the 2022 floods that had occurred in pakistan which were so deadly that it had caused some people to get displaced from their homes. These were the flood ODPs who had suffered a lot in just a course of a few months. In this cultural perspective, we found out that these people had no such shelter nor had gotten any basic human rights facilities. They also didn't have enough food and water to even survive! In a interview with a IDP, he mentioned that the situation had gotten so worse that at this point they didn't have any proper clothes nor any edible food. This whole situation had lead to life loss as well and also caused more people to get displaced

Our second cultural perspective was of the same issue but on a international level. This was of bangladesh and india who also had suffered from these floods. We found out that the situation was just as worse in both countries and people were is extreme conditions but the people government had taken a much better approach to help their people.
