I have been working with Fatima since April 2021, when I met her at the Department of Computer Science. We both were faculty members at Umm Al-Qura University, with Fatima working as a lecturer since 2017. What impressed me early on was that Fatima had extensive knowledge of machine learning and programming languages, which was exceptional for her age and experience.

Fatima is proficient in evaluating the performance of machine learning models and knows how to optimise them to improve their output and efficiency. She has experience in cross-validation techniques and succeeds in optimising model hyperparameters and improving upon model performance.

She only has a Master's degree, but her subject-specific knowledge rivals that of some of the PhD students in our university. During her Master's programme, Fatima demonstrated significant ease in handling all the projects she was instructed on. Her capacity to handle all assignments effectively secured her one of the top ranks in her class. She is dedicated to exceeding in all her work, and her projects have always exceeded the standards we have set for the work.

Fatima also has very good English language skills, both in writing and speaking, which enables her to communicate her ideas, findings, and solutions effectively to colleagues, students, and collaborators from diverse backgrounds. Her proficiency in English makes her an excellent candidate for presenting research findings, writing academic publications,

participating in international conferences and becoming an effective post-graduate researcher.

Currently, Fatima's role in the working process is to carefully research a topic in accordance with specific requirements and criteria and to develop lecture materials and model specifications, whereas my position requires supervising her work and offering feedback on the work she prepared. During our cooperation, I highly appraised Fatima's punctuality and professional attitude. The allocated tasks were approached carefully, and the milestones and deadlines were kept. Fatima demonstrated outstanding skills in machine learning and very good lecturing skills, which helped her excel in our collaboration. She is open to criticism and constructive feedback, and she is able to improve the models we have been working on effectively. Fatima has become one of our most trusted lecturers who have been entrusted with our most demanding tasks.

The communication flow normally runs smoothly due to Fatima's ability to communicate her thoughts and suggestions effectively and the challenges she meets throughout the working process. No matter what the specific machine learning task, she demonstrates responsibility, attention to detail, punctuality, and motivation, making working with her a smooth and easy process. She is a hardworking individual who spares no effort in any task she undertakes to ensure that the result meets the exceptionally high standards that she has set for herself.

Fatima is already familiar with professional writing and research practices, as demonstrated through her co-authored prior publications in the International Journal of Advanced Computer Science and Applications, and the International Journal of Computer Science and Network Security. She can effectively utilise information from a variety of sources to support her lectures and academic assignments.

Given the skills mentioned above, I am convinced of Fatima's ability to succeed in her post-graduate study as she has both the mentality and the intellectual skills to approach the assigned tasks responsibly, having demonstrated outstanding ethical and analytical skills during our collaboration.
